PARAMEDICS ASSAULTED WHILE RESPONDING TO CALL AT CARDIFF

A man has been charged after he allegedly lashed out at paramedics at Lake Macquarie, pushing one in the chest before kicking an ambulance’s door in.

The emergency workers were responding to a call at Cardiff last night, to assist a man with an injured shoulder.

While treating him, he allegedly became aggressive.

The 25-year-old has been granted conditional bail to appear at Toronto Local Court next month.
