SPATE OF TAREE BREAK INS ENDS WITH A MAN CHARGED
A man believed to have broken into more than half a dozen Taree businesses and properties since November has been charged.
Officers stopped a Holden Commodore on Bushland Drive at 2.30 am yesterday and spoke with the occupants, including a 30-year-old man.
Police searched the man and his property following further inquiries and located a number of allegedly stolen items from another Taree property.
At Taree Police station, he was charged with nine counts of break and enter and one count of stealing.
He was refused bail and will appear at Taree Local Court today.
