ROUS COUNTY COUNCIL’S NEW WATER PLAN TO GO ON PUBLIC EXHIBITION IN APRIL

Residents in Lismore, Richmond Valley, Ballina and Byron shires will soon get their say on a new proposed water plan.
It’s Rous County Council’s plan to secure the region’s water supply without the proposed Dunoon Dam, which was shelved in December.
The plan will go on public exhibition on April 1, with councillors to consider its adoption at an extraordinary meeting in July.
