A man cycling along the Pacific Highway at Cheero Point has died after hitting the Armco railing.
The 59-year-old was riding in a group just before 10am yesterday when he crashed his bike, suffering critical injuries.
Highway patrol officers administered first aid at the scene, but the cyclist could not be saved.
A crime scene has been established to gain more information around the incident.
