GUNNEDAH COUNCIL PUSHES HEALTH MINISTER TO RELEASE HOSPITAL PLANS
Gunnedah Shire Council has given the Health Minister an ultimatum, calling for clinical plans for the town’s upgraded hospital to be released.
Council says it’s been waiting too long to see a proposal for how services – such as screening and diagnostics – would be run in the new facility.
It will launch a petition calling for the document to go on public exhibition, if Brad Hazzard does not respond within two weeks.
Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson says he’s already requested the plan from Minister Hazzard, but has yet to receive a timeline for its release.
