Deputy Premier, John Barilaro has formally opposed, The extension of a controversial offshore gas exploration permit, writing to his commonwealth counterpart today.
The move has been welcomed by Terrigal MP Adam Crouch and Member for Robertson Lucy Wicks.
Federal Resources Minister, Keith Pitt will now deliberate over the fate of PEP-11, based on the advice of the state and the industry regulator.
