New England residents are doing their part for the environment – statistics revealing the region has recycled more than 100 million bottles and cans in the past three years
Tamworth topped the tally, recycling 62 million items, with Armidale coming in second with 25 million.
As a result, more than $12-million dollars has been refunded.
