ETTALONG BEACH CENTRELINK CLOSES

Ettalong Beach’s Centrelink office has closed it doors.
A handful of protesters and Central Coast Labor MPs gathered to oppose the change.
Services Australia’s lease was not renewed by the owner, with the government agency unable to find a suitable office in the suburb.
Affected staff will be moved to the nearby Woy Woy Services Australia office, which will soon be upgraded.
The federal government hopes to eventually set up an Agent office in Ettalong, which will provide assistance with digital transactions.
