Lobbyists have launched an online petition to fast-track upgrades to Armidale’s historic Saumarez Homestead.
The New South Wales Government committed $1.7-million to redevelop the site back in 2017, but shovels are yet to hit the ground.
The National Trust says the hold up is due to a few teething problems with planning.
It’s caused concern for the New England Visions 2030 group, who want to see an investigation launched into the delays.
Works are now scheduled for completion by April 2022.
