Free parking will return around Lismore Base Hospital.
Council’s resolution has been welcomed by the Health Services Union.
It means staff and patients won’t have to pay-up on Hunter and Dalziel streets.
Restrictions will also be waived on McKenzie and Weaver Street, as well as Laurel Avenue.
The decision will be reviewed in October after the local government elections.
