BUSY JOSH HAZLEWOOD MISSES SELECTION FOR MARSH ONE DAY SQUAD

Bendemeer product Josh Hazlewood has missed selection for the New South Wales Marsh One Day Squad.

Coach Phil Jacques says Hazlewood, alongside fellow fast bowler Mitchell Starc, weren’t chosen due to heavy workloads in the Sheffield Shield.

Meanwhile, Cricket Australia has amended schedules due to extra COVID-19 requirements.

The Marsh One Day Cup will now be shortened to five rounds, while the Sheffield Shield will be reduced by one.
