NSW State of Origin forward Greg Bird has re-signed with the Gold Coast Titans for another 4 years.
It is reported the deal is worth $550 000 a season.
Titans CEO David May has paid tribute to Bird’s loyalty.
“I think the fact that Greg has committed to the club long-term when he had big money offers from elsewhere says a lot about the type of character he is and also how much the Titans mean to him,” May said.
The Titans are also chasing Penrith star Michael Jennings, with May hoping he will know more about the recruitment on Monday.
