Tamworth will host Australia’s newest trail running event on April 1st next year.
Runners will take part in 15, 30 and 45-kilometre courses starting at the lookout.
They’ll then wind through the rugged bush terrain on the city’s outskirts, with ultra marathon runners anticipating it will be one of the toughest trails in the country.
It will act as a training race ahead of the Ultra Trail 100 held in the Blue Mountains.
Entries open on Friday.
