Peggy Dewez celebrated her 99th birthday early this long-weekend, with a day on the water at Lake Macquarie yesterday.
Just 11 days out from the big day, she picked up a paddle at Fig Tree Point.
Community organisation Hunter Valley Care is planning a trip out to Newcastle baths with Peggy in the next few days.
