Dragon Boat New South Wales officials say they’ll definitely bring a round of the state series back to Lake Macquarie next season, after successfully hosting round five at Point Wolstoncroft on the weekend.
Around 550 people from up and down the east coast took part in the regatta, ranging in age from 12 to over 70, with Sydney clubs dominating the premier divisions.
If coronavirus restrictions have eased, organisers are hoping to stage a two-day event next time around.
