INVASIVE TURTLE SPECIES FOUND IN LAKE MACQUARIE

An American species of turtle, traded illegally as pets, has made its way into the wild at Lake Macquarie.

The Department of Primary Industries is taking the threat to the ecosystem seriously, calling on Caves Beach residents to help track the reptiles down.
