INITIAL WORK BEGINS ON TWEED RAIL TRAIL NEXT WEEK

Initial works on the Murwillumbah to Crabbes Creek rail trail will begin next week after the State Government signed a $7.8m cheque for the project.
Vegetation clearing will start on Monday, and will allow the four preferred construction companies to inspect the infrastructure to prepare their designs.
The project is expected to finish by 2022 and cost more than $14m.
