Bowraville’s Bananacoast Credit Union has reviewed its opening hours, and from February 1 will open five days a week between 9.30am and 1pm.
The bank shut its doors in early 2020 citing security concerns, and reopened as a cashless service hub months later – much to the disappointment of locals.
Members will also be able to deposit cheques at the store.
Many are happy the bank will be open more regularly, but say they are still pushing for a cash service there.
