CAUSE OF FAR NORTH COAST HOUSE FIRE UNDER INVESTIGATION

Police are investigating the cause of a fire which destroyed a home on the Far North Coast this morning.

Emergency services were called to the abandoned property at Pimlico, south of Ballina, shortly after 8:30.

Rural Fire Service volunteers extinguished the blaze, with the ruins left taped off and smouldering into the afternoon.
