The Northern Rivers has recorded 165 days since the last locally acquired case of COVID-19.
Nearly 4,500 tests have been conducted across the local health district in the 14 days to January 3rd.
Byron Shire continues to have the highest testing rate per capita across the north coast.
Anyone with even the mildest of symptoms should get tested.
