Work to connect red zone residents to the region’s water supply is on track to be completed by June.
Hunter Water has begun construction on stage three which will affect a large number of properties in Salt Ash.
All up, Hunter Water is working to connect 165 homes within the Williamtown contamination zone at a cost of $4-million.
Residents have been forced to rely on bottled water since 2015.
