POLICE ASK FOR PUBLIC ASSISTANCE AFTER CHRISTMAS EVE ROBBERY
Detectives are asking for the public’s help after a Newcastle business was robbed on Christmas Eve.
The offender was seen entering a building on Glebe Road at The Junction just after midday, and fled with cash in hand.
He was last seen running east on Glebe Road, before turning onto Kenrick Street.
The offender is described as being around 25 years old, 175-180 cm tall, and was wearing a dark cap, t-shirt, black bum bag, white shorts, white shoes, carrying a plastic Coles bag.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed or has footage of the incident to come forward.
