POLICE APPEAL – TAREE

To other news now – police are appealing for information after an elderly woman was assaulted during an armed robbery in Taree on Saturday.

Police say two people entered a Valerie Street property shortly after 5pm, attacked the woman and fled with cash.

The offenders are described as a man and a woman, possibly Aboriginal, around 20 to 25 years old with thin builds.
