GAV’S WEATHER | MORE WET WEATHER TO COME
There is still masses of cloud now spilling across the tropics of the Territory, eastern New South Wales and south-east Queensland.
The tropics will continue from here on in, with cyclone activity next on the agenda.
The complex weather system on the east coast will begin to weaken as it moves south across eastern New South Wales.
The tropics have now come alive, and the influences of La Nina are now being felt across much of eastern Australia as the intense weather system batters the region.
The low will weaken back to a trough and sit over eastern NSW continually triggering showers and storms during the lead up to Christmas.
There’ll be more heavy rain overnight as the system moves south, affecting the Coffs Coast.
As it moves over the Macquarie Coast and Hunter Region tomorrow, it will continue to weaken. A wet lead to Christmas will follow.
