The Newcastle Jets have unveiled their latest signing, with Swiss defender Dominik Ritter getting a first-hand look at his new team at training today.
“Yes it’s a chance to play something new, it’s adventure it’s new culture and I’m very excited.”
Ritter has played alongside Socceroo Scott Chipperfield at FC Basel, and is looking forward to the Jets up-tempo style of play.
“I like to play in summer not in winter because I don’t like cold weather so for me it’s good that the season is in summer.”
The 23 year old will see limited game time when the Jets take on a Canberra rep team on Wednesday night.
