Beekeepers are experiencing a bumper season, but, where there’s honey, there’s swarms of bees – and locals are being urged to understand the risks.
Wearing perfumes can attract bees and swatting at them will only make them angrier.
If you come across a swarm, the advice is run in a straight line while covering your face and seek shelter indoors.
