SYDNEY BEARS TOO GOOD FOR THE NORTHSTARS

The Northstars have slipped to fifth in the Australian Ice Hockey League after a loss to the Sydney Bears.
It was a tight opening term – with Newcastle the only side to find the net.
Goals came in quick succession in the second term, before the Bears hit the front in the third.
Bert Malloy pegged one back, but it wasn’t enough.
The Northstars face the Bears again this Friday night.
