A man has been fined $4,000 for dumping asbestos in the Ourimbah State Forest.
The 58-year-old from the Central Coast was dobbed in by park-goers and now has to clean up the site as well.
It follows concerns about waste and trail vandalism.
Authorities are urging anyone who spots illegal dumping to take down vehicle details and call 131 555.
