A woman is in a serious condition after being hit by a car on the Far North Coast.
Emergency crews were called to Tweed Coast Road near Cabarita Beach just before 9:30 last night, where the driver was assisting the pedestrian.
The 64-year-old woman was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital, and the 34-year-old driver has undergone mandatory testing.
