Lismore’s Nathan Herne has announced he’ll compete in the S5000 Australian Drivers’ Championship and the National Trans AM Series with Valvoline next year.
It’s part of a multi-year deal he’s signed with Garry Rogers Motorsport.
Today, the 18-year-old hit the track at Phillip Island on his first official day with his new team.
Herne has contested the past two seasons in the TA2 Muscle Car Series with Gulf Western Oil.
