MOTORBIKE RIDER DIES IN HORRIFIC CRASH AT LAKE MACQUARIE

Police are investigating a horrific crash at Lake Macquarie, which has claimed the life of a motorbike rider.

Emergency services were called to Caves Beach at around 2:30 this afternoon, amid reports a motorcycle had left the road and hit a fence.

“Ambulance worked on the rider for approximately half an hour when the person was declared deceased.”

The rider is yet to be formally identified.
