All fire permits will be suspended across the Mid North Coast from this weekend, for residents in the Port Macquarie-Hastings and MidCoast councils.
Despite recent rainfall, the suspension will continue until the region receives a significant amount of rain.
The Rural Fire Service urges locals and visitors to have a bushfire survival plan and download the Fires Near Me app.
