LISMORE CATHEDRAL REOPENS TOMORROW AFTER ALLEGED ARSON ATTACK

After being closed for two months, Lismore’s St Carthage’s Cathedral will re-open to the public this weekend.
A temporary sacristy has been installed under the historic pipe organ, with work still being completed to repair the fire-damaged church.
The man accused of deliberately lighting the blaze, 45-year-old Stephen Luke, will front Lismore Local Court next week.
