• A small tsunami has struck Japan’s North East coast after this morning’s 7 point 4 magnitude earthquake but there are no reports of injuries or damage. There’s also been a 6.3 magnitude quake in New Zealand.
• The Australian government’s fears have been realised with US president elect Donald Trump saying he’ll ditch the Trans Pacific business partnership.
• And a ute driver was trapped in his vehicle in a Sydney car wash when the mechanism somehow crashed down on top of him.
