HUNTER AND CENTRAL COAST TO BECOME A ‘RENEWABLE ENERGY ZONE’

The Hunter and Central Coast are set to become the state’s next renewable energy zone, in a last minute shake-up of the government’s energy plan.

The zones are areas for the development of new grid infrastructure – meaning the move should create investment and local jobs.
