SEVERAL CENTRAL COAST DRIVERS CHARGED
Six drivers have been charged following a crackdown on alleged dangerous driving on the Central Coast.
Last Wednesday night, Tuggerah Lakes Highway Patrol were called to Newbridge Road, at Berkeley Vale, after locals reported vehicles doing burnouts.
When police arrived, it’s alleged they caught a 16-year-old doing a burnout in Toyota Hilux.
The Lake Munmorah teen was charged with several offences and has had his licence suspended until February 2021.
It’s further alleged, five other vehicles were driving dangerously in the area at the time.
A 20-year-old man from Blue Haven, A 17-year-old boy from Summerland Point, a 19-year-old from Kincumber, a 24-year-old man from Lake Munmorah and a 22-year-old woman from The Entrance were all charged.
All six alleged hoons will front Wyong Local Court early next year.
