A Scone fast food joint has been robbed at knifepoint during a frightening encounter overnight.
According to police, an unknown man entered the store on Kelly Street just before 9pm last night, armed with a long piece of wood with a blade strapped to the end.
The man threatened the 19-year-old behind the counter before making off with a small amount of cash.
Luckily, the employee wasn’t hurt.
Police have released a description of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The man is described as being about 175cm tall, with a slim build.
His face was partially covered by a black and white bandana.
At the time he was wearing sunglasses, a blue baseball cap, red and black hooded jacket, dark pants and dark shoes.
