SECOND INQUEST INTO SIMONE STROBEL’S DEATH

A second coronial inquest into the death of German backpacker Simone Strobel will be held early next year.
The 25-year-old was holidaying in Lismore in 2005, when she went missing.
Her body was found 6 days later under palm fronds at the Bocce Club.
It comes after a former suspect in her murder, has now been reclassified as a witness.
A one million dollar reward has also been announced.
