TAMWORTH CITY LIBRARY LAUNCHES ‘JUMP FOR LITERACY’ CAMPAIGN

Tamworth City Library is asking locals to ‘jump for literacy’.

Partnering with United Way Australia, the program is aimed at raising awareness of the importance of childhood literacy.

For every local participant, money will be donated to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library – a specialised book service for children, aged up to five.

“What we’re asking people to do is take a photo of themselves jumping, they need to upload that photo between 12 and 1 on the 19th November.”

Those taking part are asked to make a small donation online, before submitting their video to Tamworth City Library’s Facebook page.
