A Tamworth unit remains a suspected crime scene tonight, after fire tore through it this afternoon.
The blaze broke out at around 1.30pm in Warrah Street in Coledale.
Fire crews worked to extinguish the flames, but their duties were delayed due to electrical concerns.
A man has been taken into custody by police – and is believed to be the occupant of the home.
Investigations are continuing.
