LISMORE’S NATHAN PARKER WINS NSW YOUNG AUSSIE OF THE YEAR

A Lismore amputee and Invictus game gold-medalist has been crowned this year’s New South Wales Young Australian of the Year.
25-year-old Nathan Parker was awarded the trophy at a ceremony in Sydney last night, and shared with the crowd what inspires him.
“If I can help even one person in their darkest days, and give them that sense of hope to keep going, regardless of their situation, that’s what basically inspires and drives me forward,” he said.
Nathan was one of four finalists shortlisted for the award.
