KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FROM STRANDED WHALE IN FORSTER

Hundreds of spectators have turned up for a glimpse of a whale which took a wrong turn and ended up in Wallis Lake on the mid north coast.
It’s prompted an order for people to keep their distance, the Department of Environment warning the creature could be about to give birth.
(Note: The drone footage used for this story was filmed before the 500 metre exclusion zone was enforced and with permission from National Parks and Wildlife Service).
