LABOR PUT FORWARD NEW PLAN FOR PHARMACISTS

Pharmacists could soon deliver more than just the flu jab in New South Wales, under a plan unveiled by Labor in Newcastle today.

Under the move, pharmacists would be able to provide vaccinations to protect against diptheria, tetanus, whooping cough, measles, mumps and rubella.

Most other states already allow the pharmacy vaccinations.
