NSW TAKES OUT PARAGLIDING STATE OF ORIGIN

New South Wales has retained bragging rights at the paragliding State of Origin competition at Manilla’s Mount Borah over the long weekend.
More than 150 pilots took to the skies – the New South Wales Cockroaches taking out the competition on 4865 points.
Pilots gained points for their team for each kilometre they flew…
Perfect conditions seeing competitors fly 191-kilometres to North Star on Friday.
And for the first time in the competition’s history a female pilot was named the overall winner…
Tamworth’s Halina Kaufman scoring an impressive 742 points.
