A man is recovering in hospital after a serious single-vehicle crash in the North-West yesterday.
Just after 1.30pm yesterday, emergency crews including the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, were called to Tingha Road at Inverell.
Paramedics arrived to find the 50-year-old trapped in the vehicle, and he was treated at the scene for serious head and leg injuries.
Once released from the vehicle, he was stabilised by the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team, and airlifted to John Hunter Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
