Police are calling for information after finding a gun in a bag on the Far North Coast.
Officers were patrolling Tweed Heads at Ducat Street and Caloola Drive on Thursday morning when they found an abandoned black bag on the footpath.
The gun and bag were taken back to Tweed Heads Police Station for forenstic testing.
