LISMORE-BORN CRICKETERS GO HEAD TO HEAD IN WBBL

Lismore-born cricketers Sammy-Jo Johnson and Georgia Redmayne went head to head in the Women’s Big Bash this morning.
The match was interrupted by rain, with Redmayne’s Brisbane Heat chasing a revised total of 45 from just five overs.
Unfortunately, she was out for a duck.
Johnson took a valuable wicket for the Thunder, as Sydney won by 14 runs.
The Thunder will face Perth on Wednesday, Brisbane takes on the Sixers.
