After six years of work behind-the-scenes, Ballina’s Gather By today officially opened the epicentre of its business.
The organisation, which produces pure Manuka honey, aims to plant more than 6 million trees on 500,000 hectares over the next five years.
“What we’re growing are these pollinator havens to save the bee while also producing an income for the grower – being a closed loop regenerative agribusiness we bring in the community, we value the environment,” Founder and CEO of Gather By, Matthew Blomfield, said.
