MINISTER TO DELIBERATE ON COUNCIL SUBMISSION
Local Government Minister Shelley Hancock’s office has confirmed she’s received Central Coast Council’s submission on how it will handle its $89 million deficit.
The minister is expected to decide whether its now 13 councillors can keep their jobs in a matter of days.
If councillors keep their jobs, a by-election will not be held to fill the positions of resigned councillors, Troy Marquart and Rebecca Gale ahead of the election in September next year.
