HAIL HITS NORTHERN RIVERS, RESIDENTS TOLD TO BRACE FOR MORE

Afternoon school pick up was disrupted across the Northern Rivers as hail bucketed down across parts of the coast.
While emergency call-outs have so far been limited, the organisation is encouraging residents to prepare as more storms are forecast for next week.
“The opportunity over the weekend get out there, clean your gutters, drains, and tie down any loose objects, and make sure you’re ready for the next event,” SES Deputy Zone Commander, Mark Somers, said.
Gav will have more on the weather later in the bulletin.
